I think 115 is YTA272L because that is the registration recorded when it was sold in 2009 for £36,000 (about right) and exported to Australia. From 2010 onwards its data has not been changed on the DVLA database because it was in Australia and the DVLA has not been told it has been exported. YTA272L was first registered February 1973.
GEL354L is on the DVLA database marked with a SORN (Statutory Off Road Notification) and it last had an MoT on 27 June 2006 (it expired on 27 June 2007). So I think GEL354L is still in the UK laid up somewhere and was first registered November 1972 – a really early delivery.
Outside color: Taiga metallic (072)
Both cars are Taiga metallic (072) so I think there was some confusion on the old Register I inherited.
Now we need to find the VIN of GEL354L!
